Job summary

Exponent, Inc. is seeking a Construction Consulting Associate in Los Angeles, CA. You will join a team delivering construction project management, program management, and claims resolution services, supporting project leads and clients throughout the engagement.

Responsibilities include scheduling, cost analysis, scope and risk tracking, reporting, and documentation control. Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in civil/structural engineering or construction-related field; 1–5 years experience or MS with 0–5 years experience.
• Strong teamwork and client interaction skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with ability to navigate complex projects.
• Experience with construction project management and claims a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze project schedules.
• Plan and analyze project costs.
• Track and manage project scope changes and risks.
• Review documents and perform document control.
• Prepare project and program status reports.
• Support requests from project leads and clients.
