Job summary

Our client, a design-build construction management firm, seeks a Project Accountant to manage day-to-day project accounting and coordination with project teams. The role focuses on owner requisitions, pay applications, and cost substantiation to support timely decisions and project performance.

The role requires on-site work Monday through Friday in Natick, MA, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with project management and accounting software (Procore or Sage/Timberline).

Responsibilities

• Prepare owner requisitions and payments including pay applications and lien waivers.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance and timely payments.
• Assist with monthly forecasts and job cost schedules including % complete calculations.
• Close out projects with final change orders and GMP value calculations.
• Provide general support to operations staff as needed.
