Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project accounting experience within a construction general contractor.
• Strong understanding of job costing, construction billing, subcontractor pay applications, and schedules of values.
• Experience with lien waivers, owner billing, and project financial reporting.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project financial performance, budgets, job costs, and profitability.
• Prepare monthly owner billings, invoices, draws, and schedules of values.
• Review and process subcontractor pay applications and job cost payables.
• Manage change orders, contract modifications, and billing adjustments.
• Research project cost variances and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor payments, lien notices, lien waivers, and releases.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely project closeouts.
• Maintain organized project accounting records and supporting documentation.
