Job summary

T&T Construction Management Group in New York is seeking a Project Accountant to coordinate with Project Manager teams on project setup, contract compliance, change orders, billing, and cost control. The role requires ensuring timely invoicing and accurate reporting across active projects.

Responsibilities include supporting the PM team, managing collections, processing invoices through Textura, GC Pay and Procore, maintaining the job dashboard, logging and filing all accounting documents,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Degree in finance or accounting is desirable.
• Experience with enterprise-level accounting software is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with urgency in time-sensitive tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with others under deadlines.
• Strong organizational and computer skills including MS Office and industry-specific software.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Management Team.
• Responsible for collections on assigned jobs.
• Create and disseminate vendor waiver requirements.
• Ensure steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices on time using Textura, GC Pay, and Procore.
• Update job dashboard to reflect changes.
• Receive and log all accounting documents for the projects.
• Attend turnover, kickoff, and closeout meetings; enter setup data.
• Assist with processing change orders to ensure subcontractor compliance.
• Monitor job progress and review cost reporting for accuracy; support monthly reviews.
