Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Dallas seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead the management of multiple projects from field operations to final delivery. This role reports to the Project Executive, Deputy Operations Manager or Operations Manager and requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling and QA/QC oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus minimum ten years' related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to read/interpret contract documents and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop a high-performance team through supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring, with timely performance appraisals.
• Understand and administer Turner’s contract and subcontract agreements.
• Foster owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
• Establish, update and communicate Master Project Schedule and manage its implementation.
• May work with Preconstruction team in development of project.
• Manage budget and financial reporting; interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to budget.
• Manage QA/QC Program.
• Oversee field operations and engineering processes and procedures.
• Drive compliance with insurance, labor relations and employee relations requirements.
• Enforce safety protocols on site.
• Coordinate with Accounting to initiate Pay Applications and ensure timely payments.
• Keep management informed on progress of project and budget via ORM meetings.
• Support and drive Turner initiatives/technologies.
