Summary: Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-paced and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform all manual labor assigned to the area.
2. Keep the work area neat and clean.
3. Read and use a tape measure.
4. Read blueprints and orders.
5. Communicate effectively with coworkers.
6. Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Competencies:

• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Understanding of safety procedures.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Live the Champion Operating Principles.

Qualifications:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is preferred but not required.

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Physical Demands: Regularly stand; use hands; reach; talk and hear; walk; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift/move over 100 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
