Job summary

Abbott Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple healthcare construction projects from concept through closeout. You will coordinate project engineers, interface with owners and architects, and drive safety and budget performance.

The role emphasizes timely completion, adherence to plans and specs, and accurate forecasting of costs and margins. A strong ownership mindset and clear communication are essential for success in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test and comply with our company vehicle safety program.
• 4 year degree in a construction related major.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ project management experience.
• Minimum 5-10 years’ estimating experience.
• Healthcare construction experience and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of project engineers.
• Primary interface with owner and architect.
• Maintain a high level of safety.
• Work with the Superintendent to enhance project margins.
• Ensure projects are completed on or before the contract completion date.
• Ensure projects are built per plans and specs approved by owner and engineers.
• Maintain accounts receivable and ensure project billing.
• Provide job cost/margin forecasts.
• Manage maintenance of RFI, COP and submittal logs.
• Close out project cleanly within 30 days of completion.
• Provide all pertinent information to the construction team.
