Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager Intern for a Summer 2027 internship in the Phoenix, AZ area. May 31 through August 6, 2027 (10 weeks).

You will support planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, working closely with the project management team to gain hands-on experience from inception to completion. Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in CM, CS, or ME.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with PM software a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Shadowing and learning: observe and participate in daily tasks to support initiation, management, and completion of large-scale projects.
• Business acumen development: explore project management topics including estimating, bidding, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and budgeting.
• Site visits and collaboration: accompany superintendents on quality walks and attend project meetings to understand on-site operations.
• Project coordination: learn about project costs, material tracking, and reviewing drawings to identify conflicts between trades.
• Hands-on experience: grow PM and engineering skills through practical application.
• Summer project: complete a capstone project and present findings to leadership.
• Construction drawing analysis: analyze drawings to create actionable field plans.
• Financial forecasting support: assist in estimates and budgeting.
• Vendor communication: liaise with vendors for submittals and procurement.
• Documentation familiarity: understand submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Meetings: participate in VDC and project planning meetings.
