Job summary

Superior is seeking highly motivated students for its Spring internship program, January–April, in Columbus, Ohio. As a Construction Assistant Project Manager Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to ESG projects and work with ESG/SPD teams under senior project managers.

You will assist with daily management, coordination, and administration of projects, including scheduling, bidding, contracting, and documentation, while benefiting from lunch-and-learns, leadership training, and site visits

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Systems Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Supports project documentation including construction drawings, requests for information, submittals, and meeting minutes.
• Documents weekly project owners’ meetings and decisions.
• Understands appropriate building codes and regulations.
• Assists in the management of the project permit process.
• Helps maintain and distribute the project schedule.
• Procures construction materials.
• Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in a project setting.
