Job summary

Aldridge Electric is seeking a Project Management Intern to join our energetic East Coast team. You will support project planning, execution, and closure with administrative and operational duties.

You’ll assist in coordinating the project team, promoting safety with our Safety Department, and helping track our quality program. Expect hands-on experience across procurement, cost documentation, and subcontractor communication.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a junior or senior in a college or university.
• Willing to work in a variety of roles depending on department needs.
• Solution oriented with hands-on, team attitude.
• Organized with good communication skills.
• Ability to relate to a diverse group within the organization.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the project team as directed by the team.
• Promote safety on the jobsite and work with Safety to address issues.
• Advocate the corporate quality program and assist with tracking and admin of quality components.
• Support project execution through procuring tools, ordering/tracking material, documenting costs, and interfacing with subcontractors and customers.
• Learn and demonstrate core competencies including adaptability, customer focus, decision making, initiative, and quality.
