Meijer Inc. is offering a 11-week Construction Project Management and Analytics Internship in Michigan. You will partner with project managers on active projects, assist with schedules and budgets, and analyze data to uncover trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, architecture, project management, finance, business analytics, data analytics or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI
• Problem solving and data interpretation skills
• Drive for results with a customer focus
• Strong relational, communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to extract insights from data
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to organize resources and manage documents efficiently
• Attention to detail in project observations and analysis

Responsibilities

• Partner with Construction Project Managers on active projects and attend project meetings
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, action items, documentation, status reporting
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Analyze construction cost, schedule, and portfolio data to identify trends and risks
• Support dashboards, reports, KPIs, forecasting, and project tracking tools
• Help improve data quality, standardization and reporting using Excel and Power BI
• Translate observations into practical findings and recommendations for teams
• Complete a meaningful summer project and present findings to leadership

Education

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field
