Zusammenfassung

Meijer is offering an 11-week internship in Construction Project Management and Analytics in Grand Rapids, MI. You will partner with Construction Project Managers on active projects, attend project meetings, site visits and field activities.

You will analyze cost, schedule and portfolio data to identify trends and risks, support dashboards, KPIs and forecasting, and help improve data quality using Excel, Power BI and AI. A meaningful summer project will be presented to senior leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI.
• Problem Solving - Probes all fruitful sources for answers, and looks beyond the obvious to assemble and interpret data
• Drive for results - has focus on the bottom line
• Customer focus - dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers
• Relationship Skills - can create positive working relationships with customers, team members, leadership, and other internal and external constituencies

Aufgaben

• Partner with Construction Project Managers on active projects and participate in project meetings, site visits and field activities.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, action items, documentation, status reporting, quality, turnover and closeout activities.
• Work with architects, engineers, construction managers, general contractors, vendors and internal Meijer partners.
• Analyze construction cost, schedule and portfolio data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support dashboards, reports, KPIs, forecasting, variance analysis and project or program tracking tools.
• Help improve data quality, standardization and reporting using tools such as Excel, Power BI and AI.
• Translate project observations and analysis into practical findings and recommendations for project teams and leadership.
• Complete a meaningful summer project that connects project delivery and analytics, then present findings and recommendations at the conclusion of the internship.
