Orange County Sanitation District seeks a Planner-Scheduler (Construction Management) to manage scheduling for large wastewater projects in Orange County. Under supervision, you will prepare schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least 3 years of scheduling experience.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in engineering, construction management, or related field.
Three (3) years of professional engineering or construction management experience focusing on planning and scheduling of large projects.
Detailed knowledge of CPM and scheduling best practices.

Mansioni

Prepares and analyzes construction schedules and cost reports to determine feasibility of proposed schedules; distributes progress evaluations to project managers and engineers.
Reviews and analyzes monthly construction schedule updates and progress payments; monitors actual progress vs planned progress.
Acts as a liaison on scheduling matters between OC San divisions; coordinates schedules to minimize impact on operations.
Reviews baseline schedules and design submittals prior to bid to ensure scope is achievable; identifies the critical path and sequencing.
Reviews contract change orders and provides recommendations on delays.
Conducts schedule delay impact analysis and assesses claims.
Attends contractor meetings; provides schedule risk analysis; assists with milestones for PMO reporting.
Performs duties as assigned.
