Clearwater Shower Bath is seeking a detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to manage the building permit process for bathroom remodeling and construction projects. This on-site role is based in our Tampa Bay office, working with local building departments, construction teams, and clients to secure timely permit approvals while ensuring compliance with Florida codes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of permit coordination or construction operation experience.
• Florida Building Codes knowledge; Florida experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online permitting portals.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Notary Public certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit permit applications to city/county offices with required plans, forms, and fees.
• Coordinate with managers to gather drawings and product approvals; communicate timelines.
• Provide updates on permit status to homeowners, clients, and team.
• Direct installation teams and develop daily/weekly schedules.
• Review purchases, track orders, and coordinate with vendors and accounting.
• Monitor inventory, staging, returns, and warehouse organization.
• Serve customers with welcome calls and CRM notes.
