Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years payroll processing experience.
• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems preferred.
• Construction industry payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll for all employees.
• Review time records, pay rates, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data.
• Process hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and pay changes.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and tax regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports and reconcile records; assist with year-end W-2 processing.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and manage garnishments as needed.
