CFS in Lebanon, IN is seeking an experienced payroll professional for a fully on-site role supporting field and office employees across multiple projects. You will own the payroll process from start to finish, handling weekly and bi-weekly cycles, certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union reporting while collaborating with accounting, project management, and operations teams.

Ideal candidates have multi-state payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a CPP designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction.
• Experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and/or union payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for field and office employees.
• Review, audit, and reconcile employee timecards for accuracy.
• Prepare certified payroll reports and prevailing wage documentation.
• Manage union payroll, fringe benefits, and related reporting requirements.
• Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
