Job summary

Stites & Harbison, PLLC is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support the Construction and Data Center Service Groups. The role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, contract preparation and administration, legal research, organizing transaction files, and coordinating due diligence.

This is an in-office position. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Lexington, Kentucky, and the firm offers a competitive salary and full benefits package including health insurance,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in construction law, commercial transactions, real estate, or corporate law.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, a Paralegal Certificate, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
• Experience with document management systems and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise construction contracts and related documents.
• Assist attorneys with contract administration and project documentation.
• Organize and maintain client files and legal documents.
• Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and reports.
• Coordinate document execution and signature processes.
• Assist with due diligence and document review.
• Track deadlines and maintain project files.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal staff.
• Utilize document management software to organize and maintain legal records.
• Assist attorneys with monthly billing and invoicing.
