Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Construction Control Manager to support the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB. The role covers management of complex construction projects, contract administration, and technical consulting for the engineering team.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining logs, reviewing plans, inspecting materials, and coordinating with contractor representatives to ensure compliance with specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Construction Inspector, or related experience.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
• Background check required.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• TRIRIGA/NEXGEN IT and AutoCAD/Revit are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage surveillance of difficult and complex construction projects.
• Gather information to compile into written reports and perform related duties.
• Perform duties as a technical consultant to the contracting office and 355 CES engineering team.
• Organize and attend weekly construction meetings.
• Gather information to compile into written inspection reports and perform related duties.
• Prepare various documents, reports, and correspondence and maintain daily logs and safety reports addressing the progress of construction and the administration of the contract.
• Review test results and certify material submittals to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Participate in pre-final inspections and project acceptance discussions.
• Other duties as assigned.
