Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a General Engineer/Architect: Programming to support the 355th Civil Engineer Squadron at Davis Monthan AFB. You will program projects for future year execution, perform enterprise data entry, validate BUILDER SMS data, and help prepare cost estimates.

This role may also involve construction management, program/base development, and O&M tasks. You will work with installation stakeholders to define requirements, draft DD Form 1391s, and propose procurement strategies to

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
5+ years as Design Engineer or Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and recommend programs and development plans for new construction, renovation, and improvements of real property facilities, including utility systems.
Perform programming for Facilities Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM), decentralized Facilities Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (dFSRM), MILCON, customer-funded, mission partner, and/or O&M programs/projects.
Ensure federal, state, and local codes concerning health, safety, and the environment are strictly adhered to in the programming, design, and construction of real property facilities.
Use computers/software such as information management programs, CAD/CADD programs, and project tracking programs to solve engineering/architectural problems.
Determine a proposed project's validity, feasibility, achievability, and efficiency based on constraints related to scheduling, cost, manpower, etc.
Perform engineering duties related to O&M functions to encompass maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of infrastructure facilities and utilities.
Work with managers, budget personnel, and engineering/architectural authorities to develop and gain approval for proposed facility programs/projects.
Assist in coordinating and attending project development meetings and other pertinent meetings to coordinate information with installation activities.
