Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks a General Engineer/Architect to provide construction engineering services for a wide range of projects at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Projects include new vertical construction, modifications to hangars, training ranges, and runway/road renewal and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as a Design Engineer or Project Manager.
• Background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs planning and design work for new construction and renovation projects.
• Performs (O&M) engineering involving design and construction.
• Responsible for the life cycle engineering of facilities and infrastructure of a military installation, to include associated systems and subsystems.
• Monitors and manages projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish, including pre-construction site surveys through as-built drawings.
• Coordinates projects with engineers and architects across disciplines and with contracting officers, tenant reps, and contractors.
• Prepares, develops, or reviews design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, and technical drawings and specs.
• Evaluate design objectives and identify economical and efficient procedures for building and utility design.
• Contribute to graphics, construction documents, engineering studies, cost estimates, and communications with stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
