We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Operations Manager for a well-established specialty contracting company. This role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating daily office and field operations, ensuring efficient project delivery, strong team support, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in the trades, construction, or residential/commercial service industry with a proven track record in team supervision and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations across office administration, field technicians, and shop/warehouse functions.
Team Leadership: Supervise and support staff, including customer service, scheduling, and field leads.
Scheduling Optimization: Monitor and review scheduling activities to ensure optimized routes and responsiveness.
Inventory Procurement Management: Manage procurement and inventory to support active and upcoming projects.
Customer Service Excellence: Resolve customer escalations and ensure a high level of service.
Workflow Planning Dispatch Coordination: Assist with workflow planning, job readiness, and dispatch coordination.
Field Support: Step in to assist with deliveries, materials, or field/shop support as needed.
Safety Compliance: Ensure safety, compliance, and operational consistency across all departments.
Estimating Service Quotes: Review job estimates or service quotes for accuracy and alignment with scope.
Technician Efficiency: Ensure effective daily prep and coordination to support technician efficiency.
