Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing specialty construction organization to hire an Operations Manager who will lead field operations, project execution, and workforce development. The role focuses on building teams, driving accountability, and scaling operations across active projects.

The ideal candidate will champion safety, quality, and profitability while partnering with executive leadership on growth initiatives and strategic management of resources.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field teams (Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel).
• Strong people-development and coaching skills.
• Proven ability to create accountability and improve performance.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Continuous-improvement mindset and change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily construction operations across multiple crews and projects.
• Manage Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Personnel.
• Drive accountability, communication, and operational consistency.
• Improve training, onboarding, and workforce development programs.
• Partner with leadership on growth initiatives and operational strategy.
• Oversee project scheduling, labor planning, and resource allocation.
• Implement process improvements and operational systems.
• Support recruiting, retention, and development of field talent.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and profitably.
