Job summary

Boutique Recruiting is seeking an Operations Manager for a family-owned commercial construction company. The role focuses on keeping field operations moving by coordinating crews, scheduling, material orders, and field documentation, collaborating with estimating, CAD and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate reads blueprints, stays ahead of changing schedules and field priorities, and has strong construction operations experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in construction operations or a similar leadership role.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.
Proven experience coordinating multiple crews and scheduling around changing project demands.
Strong organization, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solving.
Experience in commercial fencing or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily field operations across multiple crews with schedules and materials.
Develop and adjust crew schedules based on timelines and weather.
Order materials and track project requirements to prevent delays.
Prepare submittals and project documentation for field and internal teams.
Read blueprints and support project execution with takeoffs and estimates.
