Job summary

Headwaters Construction Company is seeking a motivated Operations Intern to join our operations team. This internship provides hands-on experience in commercial construction by supporting both field and office teams.

Interns will gain exposure to job-site operations, project coordination, documentation, scheduling, safety, and construction management while developing practical skills throughout the lifecycle of a commercial construction project.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in construction management or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily job-site organization and logistics.
• Support Superintendents and Foremen with field tasks.
• Help receive deliveries and organize materials.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with project documentation and meetings.

• Supportprojectscheduling,coordinationactivities,andmeetingpreparation
• Assistwithmeetingdocumentation,meetingminutes,andfollow-uponactionitems
• ProvideadministrativeandprojectcoordinationsupporttoProjectManagers,ProjectEngineers,andSuperintendents
• Helpmaintainaccurateprojectrecordsandassistwithprojectcloseoutdocumentation
• Participateinprojectmeetingsandgainexposuretoconstructionplanning,coordination,andprojectmanagementprocesses
• Observeandlearnconstructionsequencing,tradecoordination,andjob-siteexecution
• Performsotherdutiesasassigned
