Jacobs in Reno, NV is seeking a Construction Office Engineer to support the delivery of water, wastewater, pipeline, and utility infrastructure projects across Nevada.

You’ll work closely with construction managers, resident engineers, project managers, inspectors, designers, and client teams to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule, balancing technical coordination and project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years in construction management, administration, engineering, or project controls.
• Experience with water/wastewater, pipeline, or heavy civil projects.
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project docs.
• Ability to read plans and specs; strong organization and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; valid driver's license; travel across Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Support construction management teams on water and wastewater projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, payments, and docs.
• Maintain project logs, records, and document control systems.
• Coordinate between owners, contractors, designers, and stakeholders.
• Review schedules, monitor progress, and assist with cost tracking.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist with startup, commissioning, closeout and field issues.
