Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a driven Construction Observation and Testing Assistant Project Manager (COT APM) to join our Newark, Delaware team.

The role oversees Field Technicians, conducts observations and testing for special inspections, and prepares final reports in collaboration with Project Managers. The ideal candidate will coordinate personnel and equipment, work with technical experts to ensure project success, and engage with clients and subcontractors to resolve

Qualifications

• 2-5 years COT experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to effectively coordinate projects.
• Good driving record, valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• NICET, ICC, ACI or other certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Field Technicians in the field.
• Conduct observations and testing for special inspections during site work and building construction.
• Prepare final reports.
• Coordinate personnel and equipment with Project Managers.
• Engage with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address issues and meet requirements.
