Liberty FCU is seeking a full-time Mortgage Construction Specialist in Evansville, IN. This role focuses on construction loan servicing and conversion to permanent financing, with duties spanning setup in servicing software, draw processing, and ongoing communication with members and builders.

The position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional member and builder experiences, with Saturday rotations on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Mortgage construction loan servicing experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy and member/builder experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction and renovation loan servicing during the construction phase for all credit union divisions, including setting up parameters in servicing software and processing draw requests.
• Communicate with members and builders throughout the construction process and monitor construction loan funds.
• Convert construction loans to permanent financing: verify completion, prepare modifications, update loan information in software, and review rate float-downs.
• Review construction transactions and requests from builders to activate accounts, and maintain vendor payment records.
• Provide excellent service to employees, members, and builders; develop knowledge of credit union systems; participate in Saturday schedule rotation.
