Job summary

FBi Buildings in Remington, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate – Construction Materials to support our building crews with lumber, steel, hardware and other materials. This hands-on, full-time role emphasizes accuracy and reliability to ensure the right materials arrive on time.

Typical hours are 6:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday with daily overtime and year-round work. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage after 30 days, a 401(k) plan with company match, life/AD&D insurance, paid time off

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pull, organize, stage, and prepare construction materials for jobsites.
• Load and unload lumber, steel, hardware, and other building materials.
• Verify materials and quantities to ensure orders are complete and accurate.
• Load, secure, and prepare shipments for delivery.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials.
• Properly tag, stock, and organize inventory.
• Restock materials returned from jobsites and customers.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with inventory counts and identify low-stock materials.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse and yard.
• Assist contractors and retail customers with material orders.
• Operate yard trucks for material movement and occasional small deliveries.
• Take ownership of assigned work and communicate when materials, quantities, or orders don't look right.
