Job summary

NTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a field materials tester to perform routine construction materials testing and field observations on diverse projects in Michigan. You will assist engineers, operate testing equipment, and document daily field reports in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to travel to job sites, with opportunities for professional growth and a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with concrete, soils, asphalt testing is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and travel to job sites in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine construction materials testing and field observations under supervision.
• Complete and submit accurate Daily Field Reports.
• Assist engineering staff with field monitoring activities.
• Independently operate testing/monitoring equipment.
• Support other tasks as needed.
