Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician

What You’ll Do

• Travel to job sites daily (company vehicle provided)
• Test materials: soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry
• Inspect active construction work and confirm it meets specs
• Document results and write clear field reports
• Communicate with contractors, engineers, and PMs
• Manage multiple sites and priorities at once
• Lift and handle equipment or materials up to 70 lbs

What You Need

• Hands‑on testing experience (soil, concrete, etc.)
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Environment (Real Talk)

• 100% field‑based (outdoors, all weather)

Job Type & Location: Contract to Hire, based in Charlotte, NC.

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour.
