Job summary

Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team. You will perform construction observation and materials testing to verify conformance to plans and specifications on a variety of projects.

Requirements include 1+ year of soil/concrete testing, ACI Grade 1, radiation safety training, ICC certifications, and a valid driver's license. Travel throughout Washington may be required.

Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team.

We're looking for individuals with strong initiative, who will perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.

Consideration for this position requires the following certifications and experience:

• 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification
• Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge
• ICC certifications

Desired Skills

• Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to use a computer and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and photo management software
• Ability to learn and grow with technological demands pertaining to daily field reports and field data

Must have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record is required. Ability to pass a background check and/or Live Scan fingerprinting based on specific project requirements. Must be willing to travel throughout Washington.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act. Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly range: $21.09 - $35.22.
