Job summary

Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team, performing field observation and materials testing to verify conformance to plans and specs on diverse projects. Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team.

We're looking for individuals with strong initiative, who will perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.

Consideration for this position requires the following certifications and experience:

• - 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience
• - ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification
• - Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge

In addition to the above required experience and certifications, hiring preference with be given to those with any of the following desired certifications:

• - ICC certifications

• - Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
• - Excellent organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
• - Must be able to use a computer and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and photo management software
• - Ability to learn and grow with technological demands pertaining to daily field reports and field data

Must have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record is required. Ability to pass a background check and/or Live Scan fingerprinting based on specific project requirements. Must be willing to travel throughout Washington.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

The expected salary range for the position is displayedin accordance withthe Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act. Finalagreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly range: $21.09 - $35.22.
