Job summary

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineering Technician to join our Odessa/Midland, Texas team.

The role focuses on hands-on fieldwork and construction materials testing of soil, concrete, and related materials to support civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with preference for a BS in Civil Engineering or Geology, and several certifications such as ACI; NICET, ICC, or TxDOT are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; BS in Civil Engineering or Geology preferred, but not required.
• ACI certification strongly preferred; Other certifications like NICET, ICC and TxDOT a plus.
• Experience with concrete and soils testing.
• Own a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.
• US citizen or permanent resident (visa sponsorship is not available for this role).
• Overtime and weekend work WILL BE REQUIRED.
