Job summary

Braun Intertec seeks Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians for its Minot team. You will perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt on regional projects and receive in-depth training and certifications through our 100% employee-owned company.

Responsibilities include field testing, reporting, and collaboration with project managers. The role requires safety focus, strong communication, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Conduct field concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature).
• Carry out field density tests of soils.
• Prepare daily field activity reports in electronic format.
• Collaborate with project managers and senior staff to ensure specifications are followed.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior staff.

Braun Intertec is seeking Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians to join our Minot team! As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Onsite materials testing is conducted on various industrial, commercial and transportation construction projects located throughout the region. As a technician, you will receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstration of ability. Responsibilities

• Perform routine & complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and temperature
• Perform field density tests of soils
• Prepare daily reports and documentation of field activities in electronic format
• Work with project managers and senior technicians or staff to ensure specifications are followed
• Assist with training & mentoring of junior staff, as needed

Qualifications

• The ability to lift 75+ pounds
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• At times, this position may be working at or on uneven terrain, varying heights, in confined spaces, or supported trenches

Compensation Range: $39,600.00 - $59,400.00
