Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Field Technician to support field and laboratory testing of construction materials in Woodway, TX. The role involves observing and inspecting soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel, and communicating findings to project managers and clients.

You will prepare written and digital reports and assist with scheduling on project sites. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 6 months of experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months experience required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification within 6 months of hire (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform field and/or laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and team.
• Transport samples to the laboratory and prepare reports.
• Maintain equipment and safety standards.
