Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our construction materials and inspection team.

The role involves leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, scope, and budget adherence, while building strong client relationships in the Southern California market. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams, manage project meetings, and monitor performance and financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (Engineering or Construction Management) with 5+ years' related experience, or 9 years' related experience without degree.
• PE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of small to medium projects.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan.
• Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety plan.
• Resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Coordinate resources, prepare reports, and manage schedules and forecasts.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders on progress and milestones.
• Monitor financial performance including invoicing, change orders, forecasting, and collections.
