Job summary

TTL is seeking a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician for Albany, GA. The role conducts laboratory work per ASTM/AASHTO standards, handling tests for soils, aggregates, flyash, rock cores, concrete, and masonry block.

You will compile data, prepare reports, and support field activities, with emphasis on accuracy and safety. Candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong MS Office skills, and prefer experience with Bentley gINT and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Bentley gINT and AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented with solid recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills required for specialized laboratory testing.
• Compile accurate data, reports, and analyses.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Maintain routine lab instruments per ASTM standards.
• Use correct techniques per industry standards (ASTM AASHTO).
• Perform calibration and keep calibration records.
• Respond to proficiency testing non-conformities.
• Perform testing during on-site assessments by AMRL and CCRL.
• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
