Job summary

Kleinfelder's Sacramento and Stockton offices in California are seeking a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. You will perform testing on soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials to verify conformance with plans and specifications.

The role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to travel locally to project sites. A high school diploma is required, with preferred certifications in ACI and Caltrans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred certifications include ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I, ACI Aggregate Testing Technician, ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician, Caltrans Certification Soils/Aggregates/Asphalt.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials in the laboratory.
• Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications and geotechnical engineering purposes.
• Travel locally to fulfill project assignments as required.
