Job summary

LEMOINE is seeking a diligent Material Handler / Inventory Specialist in Louisiana to support receiving, storage, and distribution of materials across Program Services projects. You will operate forklifts, maintain precise inventory records, and prepare material tickets and delivery documentation.

The role combines hands-on warehouse duties with administrative tasks, requiring safety focus, organization, and the ability to work in field and office environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in material handling, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or related environment.
• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Ability to maintain organized records and complete inventory paperwork.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and data entry.
• Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery tickets.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced projects.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely.
• Load, unload, transport, stage, and store materials and tools.
• Verify deliveries against POs and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity and quality.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and paperwork.
• Enter inventory transactions in systems and databases.
• Coordinate material deliveries and transfers with teams.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist audits.
• Follow safety requirements and site rules.
