Job summary

Terracon in Colorado is seeking Engineering Technicians at Technician I–III levels to perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. Candidates may indicate preferred work location across Colorado and participate in multiple sites.

You will document findings, communicate with project teams, transport samples to the lab, and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history.
• Experience using a laptop computer and Microsoft Word and Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, observation, and inspection in accordance with training, project requirements, and specified procedures.
• Clearly document findings, observations, test data, and results.
• Review data for accuracy before communicating results and submitting documentation to the Project Manager.
• Communicate project information and test results to the Project Manager and other personnel as directed.
• Transport samples and documentation to the laboratory while maintaining proper sample identification.
• Maintain assigned equipment, vehicles, work areas, and applicable calibration records.
• Operate a company vehicle, such as a Ford F-150 or equivalent, as required.
• Follow safety rules and project-specific requirements, complete pre-task planning, and promptly report safety issues or concerns to management.
• Maintain quality standards on all assigned projects.
