Job summary

The City of Sioux Falls is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to assist customers with product information, recommendations, and transactions while keeping the store orderly. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and team members to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Responsibilities include handling the POS system, stocking displays, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with flexibility for rotating Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Previous experience with construction tools and equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating products and processing transactions using the store's POS system.
• Provide recommendations based on customer needs and answer product questions.
• Organize incoming shipments and ensure displays are stocked and visually appealing.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment by tidying shelves and aisles.
• Support weekly inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate on-hand stock levels.
