Jobot in Milwaukee, WI seeks a Construction Market Leader for Commercial Strategic Development. The role drives market presence, builds strong client relationships, and guides growth in the Milwaukee office.

You will oversee sourcing, feasibility analyses, pro-forma modeling, and risk assessment while owning regional KPIs and guiding the local team to success. A senior construction background with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in construction and/or general contracting, including project management and cross-functional team work.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Must be able to speak credibly to the technical side of construction — this is a business development-driven role, but you need to be able to "talk the talk" on how a building actually comes together

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary representative of the company within the Milwaukee market, building strong relationships and expanding market presence.
• Support the sourcing and feasibility of new projects, including financial analysis, pro-forma modeling, and risk assessment.
• Own regional KPIs — business development backlog, key project updates, talent review, and major budgets/expenditures.
• Lead and support the local team to maintain a productive, collaborative office environment.
• Actively participate in project pursuits and represent the company at community events to build brand and business opportunities.
• Coordinate with functional leaders to mentor regional team members and drive accountability across the office.
• May carry supervisory responsibility for team members in the region, depending on functional reporting structure

Job Details

• Location: Milwaukee, WI (in-office; candidates should reside within ~35 miles of downtown Milwaukee)
• Reports to: SVP of Strategic Development and Marketing
