Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with extensive industry experience.
Verifiable work or teaching experience in construction, manufacturing, mechanical trades, or related field.
Strong understanding of workplace safety, hand/power tools, and production workflows.

Responsibilities

Teach construction technology, manufacturing, blueprint reading, and OSHA safety.
Deliver hands-on instruction in a shop using industry-standard tools and machinery.
Develop lesson plans integrating math and science with real-world industry applications.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom and shop environment.
Foster partnerships with local businesses, advisory committees, and apprenticeship programs to create student career pathways.
Guide students in earning industry-recognized certifications and credentials.
