Neal Communities is seeking a driven Construction Manager for the SkySail Community in Naples, FL. This role oversees multi-site construction, ensuring on-time delivery, quality workmanship, and excellent customer communication.

You will lead trade partners, manage schedules, safety, and cost controls, and uphold Neal’s standards for a safe, efficient site. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years with a production homebuilder are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with a production homebuilder.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall community construction schedule to ensure timely completion of houses in a quality manner.
• Coordinate scheduling, quality control, safety, and cost control; maintain customer communication and plans.
• Manage trade partners, monitor safety, scheduling, quality, and cost control.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and visually appealing worksite per Neal standards.
• Check homes before all construction stages and coordinate invoices with Accounting.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the overall community (or communities) construction schedule to ensure the timely completion of houses in a quality manner.
• Scheduling, quality control-phase punch, cost control, safety, regular customer communication, orientation, orientation list, one-month list, invoice approval, update plans, fill out and send in Neal schedule, frame walk with the customer, homeowner warranty, community/site cleanliness.
• Manage trade partners while continually monitoring and evaluating for safety, scheduling, quality, and cost control.
• Maintain a clean and orderly worksite that meets the Neal standards and is visually appealing.
• Check homes thoroughly before all stages of construction.
• Check thoroughly before pouring the slab, hanging sheetrock, and setting grade.
• Coordinate invoices as required by the Accounting Department.
• Provide above-average customer service during the construction process and regular customer communication.
• Ensure a safe worksite and comply with all safety guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Encourage and foster a team environment with effective communication and problem-solving when needed.
• Continuing education through appropriate seminars, conferences, and classes.

WHAT YOU BRING

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain.
• Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
• The ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently.
• Continuous walking, standing, and moving about.
• Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs.
• Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
