Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Project Management Group based out of Albany, NY. You will lead on-site teams and coordinate with superintendents to advance project scope, schedule, and budget.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, subcontractor management, and change-order processes. You will plan startup and commissioning, while ensuring adherence to Ramboll's quality standards and a collaborative, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2+ years experience or Bachelor’s in Engineering/CM.
• 5+ years in professional construction management roles.
• Ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of plans, schedules, and workflow with site teams.
• Manage overall project scope, schedule, and budget with Senior Construction Manager.
• Lead on-site project team for smaller projects and subcontractor contracts.
• Support change orders with data gathering for Project Manager review.
• Promote safety culture and act as Site Safety Leader when needed.
• Plan startup, commissioning, and closeout activities.
