This individual will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with a particular emphasis on quality control, safety compliance, and site supervision.

Job Details

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are met.
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Meet contractual conditions of performance, reviewing the work progress on a daily basis.
Coordinate and manage materials, ensuring they are ordered and delivered on time.
Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management.
Proven working experience in construction project management, including records of successful completion of projects.
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
Competent in conflict and crisis management.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is preferred.
Experience with federal and government construction projects is a plus.
