Job summary

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking a Construction Manager for the Northern California region to oversee DAS and in-building installation projects. You will manage field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality work while ensuring safety standards and CTS procedures are followed.

The role includes coordinating site surveys, scope and quoting, BoM/material ordering, and producing project documentation. Travel across Northern California is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and managing DAS and Public Safety installations.
• Ability to read blue prints and Visio/iBwave drawings.
• Determine BoM and ordering of project materials.
• Experience managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
• Experience creating project schedules and communicating progress with customers and senior management.
• Experience conducting Site Surveys and the ability to Scope and Quote.
• Produce fiber diagrams and rack elevations.
• Thorough understanding of fiber optics construction, splicing and OTDR.
• Hands-on with PIM / RL Sweep testing and reading sweeps.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day installation work at customer locations to CTS standards.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors to meet safety and quality.
• Travel within Northern California; may require statewide travel.
• Create and track project schedules; communicate progress to customers and management.
• Conduct site surveys, scope and quote projects, and prepare closeout packages.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety compliance on all projects.
• Provide weekly updates on financial status of projects.

Construction Manager- Northern California

Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise. We are seeking a Construction Manager in the Northern California region ready to take the next steps in their wireless career.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – DAS / INBUILDING

The Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of installation work at customer locations / job sites to ensure that the field crews and or technicians complete the assigned tasks, safely and to CTS standards of quality and professionalism. This would include managing any and all subcontractors / vendors who must also meet or exceed CTS standards for safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and multi-tasker, as well as a professional demeanor, who strives to be the industry leader in his or her daily actions.

This position will be responsible for work in Northern California & may require travel throughout the state of CA.

Technical Skills/ Knowledge:

• Experience installing and managing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Public Safety installations builds.
• Ability to read blue prints and Visio & iBwave drawings.
• Ability to determine BoM and Ordering of project materials.
• Must have experience in managing multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
• Must have experience creating Project Schedules and Tracking / Communicating Daily Progress with Customers and Senior Management.
• Experience conducting Site Surveys and the ability to Scope and Quote.
• Proficient at production of fiber diagrams, rack elevations
• Thorough understanding of Fiber Optics construction, Splicing and OTDR, Spectrum Analyzer (Anritsu), Signal Generator and similar test equipment.
• Hands-on experience with PIM / RL Sweep testing, including knowledge to read Sweeps and manage test results.
• Project closeout package preparation and submittal to customer
• Safety Compliance Monitoring and documentation
• QA/QC of all projects assigned to meet CTS standards
• Weekly Reports/Updates on the financial statues of all projects

Salary range of 100-120k. Pay commensurate with experience
