Job summary

Communication Technology Services LLC seeks a Construction Manager for Northern California to oversee DAS and public safety installations, manage field crews, and coordinate subcontractors across ongoing projects. The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and safety discipline.

The candidate will conduct site surveys, determine BoM, and ensure on-time material ordering while maintaining CTS standards. Travel within California may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and managing DAS and Public Safety installations.
• Ability to read blueprints and Visio & iBwave drawings.
• Experience creating Project Schedules and Tracking / Communicating Daily Progress with Customers and Senior Management.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and crews simultaneously.
• Experience conducting site surveys and the ability to scope and quote.
• Proficient at producing fiber diagrams and rack elevations.
• Strong understanding of fiber optics construction, splicing, and related testing equipment.
• Hands-on PIM/RL Sweep testing experience and reading sweeps.
• Project closeout package preparation and submittal to customer.
• Safety compliance monitoring and QA/QC of all projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of installation work at customer locations and job sites.
• Ensure field crews and subcontractors meet CTS safety and quality standards.
• Read, interpret, and use blueprints, Visio, and iBwave drawings for project execution.
• Determine BoM and order project materials; manage multiple projects and crews.
• Create project schedules and communicate progress to customers and senior management.
• Perform site surveys, scope, and provide quotes; manage test results and closeout packages.
• Maintain weekly project status reports and financial updates.
