Job summary

MPI in Houston is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to own diverse commercial real estate projects from planning to turnover. You will lead multiple sites, manage budgets and schedules, and drive quality and compliance across industrial and residential assets.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will coordinate bidding, contracting, and lender draws while shaping scalable construction processes and performance metrics for long‑term asset performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience in developer/owner environments.
• Experience delivering industrial, distribution, tilt‑wall, multifamily, build‑to‑rent projects.
• Strong understanding of pricing, procurement, contracting, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent construction projects from pre‑development through turnover.
• Manage budgets, schedules, scopes, quality, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee bidding, contractor selection, bid leveling, contracts, and awards.
• Coordinate lender and ownership draw processes and project reporting.
• Ensure permits, safety, and quality standards compliance across projects.
• Provide updates and risk assessments to executive stakeholders.
• Develop construction processes and performance metrics for growth.
