Job summary

Knobelsdorff (KE) is seeking a Construction Manager - Electrical to lead on-site supervision of industrial electrical projects across multiple states. You will manage crews, plan, schedule, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while upholding KE's values.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in PM/CM, industrial electrical experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 100%. KE offers competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive environment that rewards initiative

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in PM/CM or equivalent
  • Industrial electrical construction experience required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and forecast scope
  • Strong communication across teams and stakeholders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Travel up to 100% across regional states incl. overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site planning, material and equipment management, and job site safety
  • Oversee and report daily progress to the project team
  • Interpret and manage project execution based on drawings and standards
  • Support project benchmarking, stakeholder reviews, and process approvals
  • Coordinate with project managers on planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and procurement
  • Supervise field crews and subcontractors to stay on schedule and budget
  • Conduct tailgate safety meetings and ensure JHA completion
  • Enforce safety protocols and document incidents
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and mentorship on-site
  • Participate in constructability reviews and define execution strategies
  • Review timecards and job costs for accuracy
  • Lead by example and jump in on-site when needed
  • Build and maintain a 3-week lookahead schedule
  • Represent KE for inspectors, landowners, OSHA visits
  • Support documentation, change orders, and construction administration

Job Description

As the Construction Manager - Electrical, this role supports the Electric division by providing on-site construction supervision for industrial electrical projects across multiple states. You’ll be responsible for overseeing crews, managing field operations, and ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and execution throughout the life of a project. Success in this role means delivering a well-coordinated job site that stays on schedule and meets performance expectations, all while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance. What You’ll Do
  • Lead on-site planning, material and equipment management, and job site safety

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of experience/education
  • Industrial electrical construction experience (Required)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and forecast scope
  • Strong communication skills across teams and stakeholders
  • Competency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Travel availability up to 100% across regional states, including overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license with a strong driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Pay Range

We believe in paying for the value you bring to the team, and we aim to be competitive in every market we hire in.

Pay Range: $115k - $150k plus per diem, incentive opportunities, or other applicable compensation details.
